2005 Cannabis Cup Judge's Adventure to Amsterdam!!!
Update: 7-18-2005 As might be expected, the prices for the airfare have increased with the higher prices for oil, and now prices for a full package deal are $1250.00 and up. We have also decided to focus mainly on accommodations in the apartments as opposed to the hotels to provide for a more enjoyable and comfortable experience. It may still be possible to provide hotel accommodations if you email us. The apartments we have chosen are nicely appointed and close to the Milkweg, where the ceremonies will be held. This is also in close proximity to the museums and the heart of the city itself. Update: 5-22-2005
As anticipated, the final touches are being put on the travel packages and we are ready now to begin booking for the 2005 Amsterdam Cannabis Cup Judge's Adventure. Packages will be available from $999.00 and up, depending upon the type of accommodations and your departure city. Now is the time to make your reservation and save money. The earlier you can get your reservation made, the more money you can save. Please email us today if you haven't already and we will begin preparing a package built especially for your needs. Update: 5-19-2005 I have waited until the last possible moment to post this update in hopes that I would indeed be ready to start accepting reservations. I am still in negotiations with some of the accommodations, and would like to be able to make a full announcement and start accepting all levels of accommodations at the same time. I do believe that I can have those details finalized early next week, and should be ready to take reservations by the end of the week. Please stay tuned...Thanks a lot.
Get ready for some fun in the old world, Amsterdam style. I have been to Europe 5 times. Each time Amsterdam was a main hub. It's one of the busiest cities in the world for travelers going places. It's also home of the annual Cannabis Cup, a competition that brings some of the best cannabis in the world to be judged by the most discerning smokers in the world. I will be taking a group of individuals to the Cannabis Cup as judges. Each participant will receive a judge's badge and will be treated to lots of things to sample and help decide what is the best in the world this year. Please stay tuned for more details, or email me for more info or just to ask your burning questions. Included in this adventure will be round-trip airfare from the US to Amsterdam, all accommodations for one week in Amsterdam, and a judge's pass to the 17th annual Cannabis Cup accompanied by a guide who has been to the Cannabis Cup twice as a judge, once in 1996 and again in 1997. Come enjoy Amsterdam and the Cannabis Cup with ease on this amazing Traveldreamzzz adventure. Update: 4-17-2005:Things have been progressing nicely and we will begin taking reservations for the 2005 Cannabis Cup Judge's Adventure Package on May 19, 2005. We will begin contacting individuals in the order in which their emails were first received. Please expect an email that week and contact us as soon as possible in order to get the options that suit you best.If you have not already done so, please Click here to send us an email as soon as possible providing the answers to the questions below.1. How many people are in your party? If you're unsure, give us an idea of minimum and maximum.2. Where will you be departing from? This way we can start getting airfares figured out. Please be aware that airfares will vary depending upon which airport you'd like to depart from. If there are multiple options for your departure, please let us know which you would be willing to use, and which you prefer.3. What sort of accommodations would you like while in Amsterdam? There are many different options, and some will be limited to first come first served. There will be options ranging from the least expensive ie; a Hostel (for those of you who don't know what a hostel is, it's a sort of budget accommodation often like a dorm room with up to 4-16 or more people sharing a large room, each with their own bed and a locker in which to keep one's personal possessions. Hostels are very safe and are mostly filled with travelers on a budget. They are cleaned daily, I have personally used hostels many times in my travels) Hotels will be an option, but often the most expensive option. We are working on renting a houseboat on a canal, which may be the top level of luxurious accommodation, and we will be offering apartment rentals as well. So, for number 3 please give us an idea of your top two options for accommodations4. Some of the accommodations already include many amenities such as museum cards for admission to all the great museums in the city and a bike rental(bikes are a great way to get around the city) Those sorts of amenities are not included in the budget type accommodations If you are interested in these and other amenities and are interested in the budget accommodations, please indicate this in your answer to #4. Also please indicate here if there is anything that you have in mind to do while in Amsterdam, and we will look into adding that to the options.5. Please feel free to ask any questions and we will do our best to give you quick and accurate answers. Also please indicate any special needs that you may have and we will do our best to accommodate those needs as well. |
