Financials
The 2.5% Royalty Structure
To ensure a clean partnership with a direct share in global sales success:
- The Locked Allocation: A firm 2.5% of Net Wholesale Revenue per product unit sold is securely allocated to the featured photographer.
- Monograph Advantage: Because each edition spotlights a single master photographer’s archive, you do not split this percentage with any other artists. You receive the full allocation.
- The Accounting: Transparent, itemized royalty reporting and payouts issued quarterly.
Protective Definition: “Net Wholesale Revenue” tracks the actual funds received from distribution networks and crowdfunding pre-orders, entirely insulating the artist from manufacturing overhead or retail discounts.

Retaining Your Ownership
We operate strictly under an artist-first intellectual property protection model:
- Non-Exclusive Rights Only: The photographer retains 100% full copyright ownership of their original files. You remain completely free to sell prints, publish books, or license the images elsewhere.
- Limited Game-Use Scope: Licensing permissions grant use strictly inside the context of the physical/digital card game layouts and direct promotional media.
- Derivative Protection: The unique game frame, rules text, and structural card layout remain the property of the game, ensuring neither side can replicate the other’s unique assets independently.
Integrity
Permanent Signature Credit
Crystallography and artistic integrity are paramount. We do not bury contributor names in a tiny booklet:
- On-Card Lineage: Every card print run features the explicit, high-contrast text line “Photo by [Photographer Name]” positioned directly on the front face layout.
- No Image Distortion: Original crop selections, color balances, and clarity curves are reviewed with the photographer prior to final card proof approval to ensure maximum scientific accuracy.
